Let me start out by saying that I don't use these bags for cleaning up dog poop by hand. I'm not sure that I would use them for that as they seem a bit thin. I scoop the waste from my cat's litter boxes into these bags and they serve their purpose for that. I actually prefer these bags for that use as I have tried others and they did not do as well containing the smell of the cat's pee. I've never had an issue with tearing, but I will say that it seems like these let liquids through. It's not like they have holes in the bag or anything like that, it's almost more like the liquids get absorbed into the plastic somehow. That's really been my only complaint about these bags. I do like that ordering these from Amazon is a better deal than purchasing from Petsmart. Definitely more positive than negative for me and I will continue purchasing this product.Small apt, one jumbo litter box and 2 healthy litter box donors keep me scooping a few times a day. We all prefer a clean box. One meows and comes to tell me if someone (usually his furry buddy) pooped so I can clean up for the next occupant.I purchased a litter locker, great product but unnecessary. The refills are $5 each and barely lasted a week, so I was spending about $15-20 a month to toss cat poop. No thanks. I read a note in one review on the litter locker about diaper genie fitting and a better buy and thought if they make a roll of bags that hides a dirty diaper stink, that's exactly what we need. I bought a small plastic holder for diaper bags, it hangs in the bathroom and I use these very nicely scented bags that fit into the diaper bag dispenser. 100x times cheaper and since I toss garbage every 2 days, this is most economical, the bags are biodegradable and do just as advertised, contain odors and dont leak etc.I've been overpaying for the last year at Walmart and Target for the Arm & Hammer scented baggies until I found these online. When they arrived, the first thing I did was smell them. It sounds crazy, but the scents are really nice for drowning out other smells! These are a nice fresh scent and not overwhelming. I primarily use these at our changing table in my daughter's nursery. I also keep a roll in each diaper bag, in the glove box of both vehicles, and in my purse. Nasty diapers are the first thing to find their way into one of these, but I've used them for garbage in the car too. Will be a return customer for sure! They're perfect!Best poop bags I've used yet, and I've tried many, we have 3dogs, added scent is always helpful, they are thick enough (hate the thin ones u can practically see through), and they open easily every time, that's the major part for me, because I hated standing there forever trying to get a bag open along it's edge looking like an idiot. And I am disgusted at the thought of having to lick a finger to slide the edge open of a poop bag, after hands have been wrapped around leashes and touching the dogs and hiking. I'm just so happy these open easily every time. And they are $13.99 at Petco, so it's a steal on amazon at half the price, so I stock up here!We first used the unscented version of these bags and were happy with them....until we discovered the scented bags. The scent does a great job of masking the sometimes unpleasant smell of what you are picking up. I've never had a bag break on me, and they are plenty large to use for a 90+ pound dog. Even our dog walker is impressed with these and wanted to know where we found them.I used to buy them locally but the pet stores were always sold out of the scented bags. Getting them on Amazon saves me from visiting 2 or 3 stores just trying to pick up a pack - and the price on Amazon is better.I had been buying the scented bags for the past several months because they were longer than the unscented bags (the unscented bags used to be longer, too). Unfortunately, Bags on Board has gotten cheap with all of their bags now, as the last batch of scented bags is now shorter, too. Too bad. It used to be a 5-star product for me, now only 4 stars. Note to manufacturer - please go back to the original, longer bags.I LOVE these bags. Price and quality DOES matter when it comes to some products! I actually use these for my kitty litter box, and had bought some really cheap ones at the grocery store. They were tiny and really thin. I ordered these and they were great. They were a lot longer and thicker, and the fact that they are scented is a plus :) They're a little pricey, but I think they're worth it. And I NEVER smell anything when I throw the bags in the garbage. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.I love these bags. I have a very large black lab that makes very large & stinky #2s. I live in a NYC building in the middle of an avenue, so I generally bring my dog's waste back into the building with me, up the elevator, and then I dispose of it down the trash chute. If I don't use scented bags to mask the smell when I take the elevator back up, my neighbors would be very unhappy! These work perfectly for me & my doggie.As I have two walking poop generators, we used to stuff a large number of carrier bags in our pockets before going for a walk. Not only was this a bit awkward (walking with trousers like a Canadian mountie) but most carrier bags have small holes in them, which is not ideal.I saw these bags and thought we would give them a try. This pack contains a LOT of bags, we still have loads left. They are a good size for the job(bies) at hand and also disappear into your pockets well. The only suggestion I would make, is to start the opening process on the bags you take with you, before you set off. Trying to open any plastic bag with cold and wet hands can be a little bit of a hassle, especially when you are trying to clean up your dog's business before getting back into your walk.The last thing I ever thought I'd be doing is writing a review on poo bags! But these things are important to a dedicated pup owner. I used to buy cheap £ shop bags, they split, the bottom falls out, sound familiar? Enter Bags on Board, picking up after your dog is never going to be pleasant, but these at least make it easier. I've not once had one tear, split or leak on me. I also don't find the lack of tie handles an issue, I never used them anyway. Another reviewer commented on the benefit of taking the sticky seal off a new roll before going out, I heartily agree. Trying to do it with frozen fingers is a nightmare. In fact I always take one off the roll & put it in my pocket before I leave the house, much easier.The bags I received were not really scented. If I put the roll right up to my nose (before picking up after the dogs in them!) I could detect a faint odour, but certainly not enough for them to warrant the label "scented". Maybe I just received an old batch.Having said that, these are durable, strong bags which are a very good size and have never split. They hold a very large amount of poop (multiple dogs!) and although they don't have handles, the large size means this is not a problem. I would definitely buy them again, though I would probably go for the rainbow colours instead.The bags are a nice thickness and a very pleasant smell (although not for long!! haha). Delivery was prompt and the roll fits nicely into my dispenser. An excellent product.My only negative comment would be that the bags are not tie handles, so when dispensing one in the dark mornings / evenings I cannot see where one bag ends and another begins. Maybe a dark strip of colour to show end/start or a section that is already cut to make it easier????But still a great product.These dog poo bags smell nice without being overly strong, they are easy to pull off the roll and get open and they are thick and a decent size. My dog is very small though so not sure if they would be as suitable for a very large dog. The best bit is they go into my little attachment on my lead so I don’t need to remember to take bags as they are already attached!
