It's easy to fold the material down if you need to pack it in smaller totes or bags.Not only is this such a cute little bag, but it's also durable and fits everything that I need on a day to day. I love how soft and thick it is. I've already washed it once and it still looks the same as when I got it. I love how affordable it is too, wish they had them in a bigger size though.More like a corduroy feel. Not shiny like velvet, more matte. Which is what I was hoping for. It has a nice zipper and it can hold a whole lot of items. You can lay it down flat or it will also stand up alone once filled because it has a boxy, rectangular like bottom.
