I make soap cupcakes, and I've been using another vendor's smaller pastry bags, which have been adequate for my purposes. However, when you have a batch of soap batter made, you have to move fast before it hardens into a solid rock. Taking time between piping cupcakes to refill a small, 12-inch bag is messy and wasteful, both of time and materials. Not mention frustrating, soap and slippery! These are generous, sturdy bags, and are ideal for piping soap batter comfortably, easily and quickly. I read a lot of reviews on disposable pastry bags before purchasing them, and decided on these because reviewers mentioned that they were a nice thickness and held up well. You don't need a coupler on these if you don't plan to switch tips. You can fill them up with a such a generous amount of batter, that your arms will get tired while you pipe!I thoroughly recommend these bags over any others, for price, quality and delivery speed.Being totally hooked on Fat Daddio baking pans, I thought I'd give their pastry bags a shot. A while back I ordered the 12 inch bags and I was not disappointed. They work like a charm and I love the fact that there's no cleaning involved once your done piping. The only downside to the 12 inch bags is that sometimes they're too small for the job at hand, so without hesitation I bought the larger 18 inch bags. And without hesitation I've used them with confidence. Filled up a whole batch of halved jalepenos with a wonderful mushroom and cream cheese filling, wrapped them in bacon and popped them in the oven. Best poppers I've made in a while and thanks to Fat Daddio's large 18 inch bags, the job was done in a flash!I'm not a professional baker by any means. I just do a huge amount of iced cookies at the holidays and a couple of kids' birthday cakes throughout the year. This package could easily last me 5 years, but the per bag price is about half of what I paid for a small box from a well-known baking supply brand earlier this year. (And I hate to undertake a baking project and discover I'm out of piping bags!) I love the larger sized bags because I hate having to stop to refill the 12'' ones. These worked great. They're plenty strong and if I ever run out of bags :), I would happily buy these again.FYI, all of my bags were clear. There's no red lettering like in the photo.Great product, but a little difficult to handle for me. Would work better for someone with bigger hands. Or maybe if I was filling cream puffs or something like that. I think a 16 inch bag will work better for my needs. If you want a big strong bag though, this is a great choice!Great product. Had a good feel to the outside of the bags! This was ordered as a gift, but came highly recommended by someone who uses them professionally. Less likely to split open while in use. They work amazing, don't have to worryou about breaking in mid decoratingFat Daddio's bags hold up well. We haven't had them split like so many other brands. Thanks for offering a great product. Will be getting more.
