This is a great box to add fun to popcorn and movie night!lo compre para la fiesta de cumple primer ano de mi hijo para entrar los dulces de regalar y funciono perfectoThese worked out okay for us.We hosted a baseball themed party and ordered these for the hot dogs. As other reviewers have stated these are packaged flat, and it would have been nice if they were pre-shaped. That said, with a little effort you can shape them by making creases along the factory folds and once shaped they hold up nicely. This took a little bit of time, but not a big deal, the wife and I were able to shape 6 packages (48 trays) as we watched a couple of prime time television shows.I was expecting a thin paper tray, rather they are a bit stiff, with a "wax" like coating to avoid absorption, about like a paper plate, or the box you'd get your burger or hot dog in at a fast-food restaurant. If you don't mind spending a little big of time shaping them (wasn't a big deal of us), then go for it.I thought these were going to be paper. They were more sturdy than paper. I liked them they worked well.I bought these for my daughter's second birthday party, which was Frozen themed, and each kiddo got tickets they could redeem for popcorn and candy. These were incredibly cute in the pictures here on amazon, and they were just as cute in person. While small, they actually held quite a bit of popcorn! However, they are a thinner cardboard and a bit flimsy. They proved a smidge difficult to put together. The bottom parts just didn't connect that well, and were flimsy enough that several ripped with trying to get them to stand upright. We ordered two packages to have more than we needed, which was good because the bottoms of several would have leaked popcorn right and left. I would order extras in case you can't get them all to stand up/you tear some while putting them together. But, they are an incredibly cute and relatively inexpensive popcorn or party favor container. Our guests (ages 1-9) thought they were fantastic.I didn't want to spend much money on these, and at $1.79, I didn't really expect much. The cons stuck out to me the most. The first thing I noticed was that they were very small and somewhat flimsy. They are about 5 1/2 inches tall and at the top about 2x4 inches. They don't just pop together either. The bottom gets stuck and they aren't really scored well at the corner folds. I got them the day of my daughter's movie night birthday party, so I didn't have much choice but to roll with it. There is no wax coating to repel the butter and oil from any popcorn you're serving in them. The pros: They are very cute and worked perfectly for a bunch of 8 year old girls. If you're buying these for teens or adults, I'd say look for something bigger. They're really inexpensive and that was a big plus for me.All in all, they worked and looked really cute in the hands of little girls watching a movie projected on a big wall. These are super cute and a nice sized popcorn box. One microwave bag of popcorn fills 2 boxes. Great for a movie night at home!Just right for use at family movie night. I made several bags of microwave popcorn then divided it up in the bags. This allowed everyone to then use his or her own choice of seasoning. It was just like being at the theater. The bags about the size of a small bag at the theater. They hold up very well for the one use they are intended for and then go right into the trash. Of course, the bags seem to have a light coating of some kind to keep the butter from leaking through quickly, but it will leak through eventually. The bags could be used a lunch bags or most anything else you would use a paper bag for.I am very pleased with these popcorn boxes, they are very retro and just what I wanted for my daughters forthcoming birthday gathering. They arrive flat packed so are very easy to store if you don't want to use them straight away.I recently got a popcorn maker and will be setting it out for my daughter and her friends to make their own popcorn. The boxes in my opinion are an ideal size as much bigger and you would be struggling to make enough popcorn to fill them and on the other side of the coin I think the portion size is more than sufficient. (can always make more and refill with warm popcorn). There are 10 boxes and each box measures just under 16cm high x 10.5cm width at the top scaling down to 7cm width at the bottom of the carton. The red on the carton is a nice vibrant shade.I think these will be a great hit at the birthday gathering and would be a welcome addition to hold popcorn on any occasion whether it be a party, movie night or just a snack.I have added a couple of pictures and I will add more when we make the first batch of popcorn. So we did a fake-away with burgers and fries. Obviously we put the fries in these as it would have been a bit weird if we put a burger in them. Anyway it was good to put fries in as we were able to not give the kids too many. This allowed me and the wife to have loads of fries on our plates. Their loss.I used these to make a party bag for a cinema party. They are quite small but a perfect size for younger children. Very good value for money!I toyed between the 2 sizes of boxes before buying. This is the smaller one of those available but it is the perfect size for a children's party. The bigger ones would've meant a lot of wasted popcorn and quite probably more mess with the left over popcorn in the cartons being knocked over. I would recommend the bigger size for those movie nights. Easy to fold together. Would recommend, nice touch to a party desert table.I bought these for my grandaughter to have a movie night with daddy. I bought a large bag of popcorn and a few sweets and popped 4 of these little boxes into a gift bag for a treat. She thought they were lovely, and can’t sit to try them. They would be ideal for kids parties as you could fill them up and have them ready.
