I’ve been trying to reduce the amount of plastic material that is going into my garbage can on a monthly basis. I’ve tried three other brands of silicone resalable type bags in an effort to reduce this type of waste. So far this bag is my favorite.I like that I don’t have to store slider ceiling parts as many of the other bags use. I have we cans and those were too hard for meThe zipper portion of these seals well and appears to be free from leaks, although I don’t typically use it for items with a lot of liquid in them.I do find them tricky to get dry after cleaning. I chose this style because they have pleats in the bottom, which I thought would help with the drying process and while it does help, that is still probably the only complaint that I have about them.overall, I recommend these bags as an option to throw away plastic bagsWe love these! They are easy to fill, easy to clean, and leak proof. We've only had them a couple of months, but we've used them daily since purchasing. Note...I do hand wash.Our experience is that they keep refrigerated produce fresh longer than expected if you simply squeeze the air out priorto sealing (example: sliced apple for easily 2 weeks with barely any oxidation.) I've given some as gifts and the recipients love them to.We use them for marinating, for food storage (in pantry for shelf stable foods, in freezer, and in fridge).They are great for camping (carry in carry out), travel, craft supplies, hygiene products, pet food/treats, on the go water bowl...uses are only limited by our imagination.Hope this helps.I've tried so many different kinds of reusable bags in the past and I'm so excited that I found these. They are BY FAR the easiest I've found to wash. The small ones easily fit on the top rack or my dishwasher and didn't melt! The gusset shape of them makes them very easy to hand wash as well! And they stand up so nicely! 10/10.First off, if you have arthritis in your hands, you’ll probably find these very hard to open and close. After washing in hot water, the top closure gets all crinkled and weird. It gets sort of wobbly and not as neatly flat as when new. The bottom is slightly flared, so it never lays flat, which makes storage problematic. They do seem to be leak proof, so that’s a plus. But the top doesn’t open very wide, making it impossible to store things that are more round. In fact, the whole thing is rather stiff, so if you want to store something like half a cantaloupe, you’ll find it difficult to wrestle the whole thing in and get it closed. I’m not 100% happy with them. But for what they can accommodate, they are pretty good - you just have to accept the limitations.So first time using them about half the bags sprung leaks along the seams. Looks like the sides weren’t sealed appropriately. They’re cheap bags (for reusable bags) and they definitely feel cheap. Spend the extra $8 and get something quality that will last.Work great for packing lunches and less waste!I wanted to stop using as many baggies, so I got these. They worked well at first. I thought they were a little thick and too big for what I needed, but they were sturdy and reusable. They weren’t the easiest to clean and dry, but that was okay too. My issue is that they stopped closing. Like, they will not seal up for me. I got to use them for a few weeks, but can no longer use them.These bags are very durable, but after a few uses, the zip does not line up properly making closing them quite difficult.
