So I learned about this plant, Cerasee, when I visited Jamaica. I was told it helps to regulate blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol. Well, I don’t drink it consistently every day but at 4 days a week. My blood sugars are lower than I have seen them in a long time. My blood pressure is better as well. I’m a nurse. I won’t tell you to stop your meds but rather discuss this with your doctor and decide if stopping your meds are ideal. Keep a record of these numbers to carry with you to the next appointment and go from there. I’m going to start drinking this daily though. There’s lots of teas made from natural plants that could really help us to come off a lot of these meds. That’s my goal and Cerasee has been a great start. It's too expensive. Pack of 3 on Amazon is $12.49 and in store I brought 3 for $7.50. And worse of that , I couldn't return this item.Nausea , anorexia , general detoxification, anxietyI originally ordered this tea because I heard it could help lower, or maintain good blood glucose levels (among other things). I also read that Cerasee tea is rich in Vitamin A, C, phosphorous, and alkaloids, so I figured I'd try it because even if it didn't help my blood glucose, it would be nutritious. I am a type 2 diabetic and I no longer have to take medication because I maintain a strict, clean keto diet, but I want to make sure as I age that my readings continue to be good. The morning blood glucose reading is usually my only bad reading (Dawn Effect), and the tea seems to be keeping that down. I drink a cup of tea in the morning, and a cup of tea in the evening to help maintain my blood glucose levels, and lower the morning reading. The tea has a nice flavor with a slight bitterness to it, but once you get used to it, it is very enjoyable. I sweeten mine a bit with organic stevia. I have been drinking it now for 5 weeks. If you are a diabetic whose blood glucose drops frequently, I'd use caution till you see what it does for you just to be on the safe side. My husband drinks it and enjoys it too, for some of it's other health benefits which you can Google. These are good, taste exactly like the plant itself. Great for early morning tea or cleansing.Dislike the taste, but worth its value in gold for cleaning my system of the food or drink that irritate my eczema, not up all night scratching or running to the shower to get relief .You will dislike the taste. But will drink it anyway. Not as good as the original but it does do the job if allowed to sit and draw in hot water (more than one tea bag tho). You receive the same cleansing effect. Most persons in the States if not Caribbean think that it’s weed as it grows there freely. Worth the money too.
